SBF sells part of its remaining cryptocurrency holdings

Sam Bankman-Fried a few weeks ago insisted that he only had $100,000 left in his bank account. However, he never mentioned his cryptocurrency wallets. According to the Cryptobriefing platform, it is likely that SBF has withdrawn up to $1.48 million in cash.

According to some platforms, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), appears to have siphoned $1.48 million worth of crypto to various exchanges to withdraw funds. One of his wallets, known to be owned by SBF, pooled funds along with several known Alameda wallets to withdraw into fiat. Let’s see the details!

Cryptobriefing analysis.

According to the platform’s calculations, Sam Bankman-Fried collected a substantial amount of $1.48 million from ten different cryptocurrency wallets. As DeFi analyst BowTiedIguana points out, on-chain data shows that On December 27, a Bankman-Fried partner wallet sent 0.66 ETH to an Ethereum wallet just created, starting with “0x7386”. We know that the original wallet belongs to SBF because he tweeted it in September 2020.

Wallet 0x7386 received a total of 569.95 ETH from dozens of different wallets in over a hundred transactions in just five hours. Some of these wallets are labeled Alameda Research on Etherscan. He then proceeded to send 519.95 ETH to a wallet starting with 0x64e9. This wallet was also created recently, but it already had 800,000 USDT before the ETH transaction.

The above 800,000 USDT was sent to four different addresses, all starting at 0x4e5b, combining USDT in a wallet. According to Etherscan, this wallet is owned by the central exchange FixedFloat.

Meanwhile, wallet 0x64e9 continued to exchange most of its 519.95 ETH for USDT. 200,000 USDT exchanged again for 10.33 BTC. The funds then went to another wallet, which guarantees the complete confidentiality of the transaction. Another 200,000 USDT went to three different wallets. It was then consolidated once more into a wallet starting with 0xbb3fd, which Nansen marked as owned by Binance.

Finally, the remaining 310.85 ETH went through eight different wallets. It was consolidated once again, this time in a wallet starting at 0x077d and labeled by Etherscan as belonging to the ChangeNOW crypto exchange. The remaining 50 ETH from the original address 0x7386 also went to this wallet.

In conclusion.

Putting all this together, Whoever controls these wallets appears to have cashed in approximately $1,480,500 worth of cryptocurrency. Was it definitely Bankman-Fried who made the transactions? It is not known so farbecause someone else could have the private keys of these wallets linked to SBF, however it becomes clear that SBF has much more money than it has said it currently does.
