NovaDAX, one of the largest Brazilian crypto-related exchanges, announces the sponsorship of the 2022 season of the Stock Car Pro Series. The company is the first and only Brazilian cryptocurrency exchange to sponsor one of the biggest motorsport categories in the world. NovaDAX ‘surfs’ a worldwide trend of cryptocurrency exchanges supporting sporting events. Sponsorship actions like this reinforce the relevance of the crypto universe and its economic potential, in addition to providing new connections between fans and their idols, making the sporting experience even more interesting.

“We are very happy to be the first Brazilian exchange to sponsor the main motorsport category in South America and Brazil. We have the educational role of sharing knowledge about the cryptocurrency market with Brazilians and for that we always seek the path of innovation. Nothing better than sport to make this connection”, highlights Thaís Marques, Head of Marketing at NovaDAX.

Currently, with more than 200 brands participating in the event, the Stock Car Pro Series is watched in 100 countries through Motorsport.TV, the largest platform for automotive events in the world. In Brazil, the competitions are shown live by Band and SporTV. In 2021, the category became the first in the country to exceed the barrier of BRL 1.5 billion in advertising return. The 2022 season had an increase of 53% in relation to the volume of sponsorship raised in the previous year. With an innovative attitude, the category has constantly presented news, such as the 2022 GP Galeão, the first event held at a commercial airport in activity in the country.Passfolio

An unprecedented study by the Center for Economic Intelligence of the Secretary of Tourism of the State of São Paulo points out that Stock causes an economic impact of up to R$ 30 million per stage in the cities where it passes.

“NovaDAX’s sponsorship reinforces an important feature of Stock Car, which is to be an efficient platform not only for automotive brands”, says Fernando Julianelli, CEO of Vicar, organizer of the category. “As a company focused on the future, NovaDAX has a lot to add to our mix and we believe that our synergy will create great opportunities for everyone involved, be they competitors, companies or fans”, adds Julianelli.

Support for Brazilian sport

The Stock Car sponsorship is part of a strategic marketing action by NovaDAX and also of its constant support for Brazilian sport. In 2022, the exchange went beyond its core business and began to immerse itself in traditional industries, such as sports, sponsoring several sporting events – Paulistão on HBO MAX and TNT Sports channels, CBF in the men’s team game between Brazil and South Korea ( 02/06) and now as the first and only cryptocurrency exchange on Stock Car. Created in 1979, the Stock Car Pro Series is the biggest category in South American motorsport. Throughout its history, the main names of Brazilian motor sport have passed through its grids and, this season, icons such as Rubens Barrichello, Nelsinho Piquet, Tony Kanaan and Felipe Massa are bringing a lot of competitiveness.

“Brazil is an important player for the crypto sector worldwide and reflects major external trends. This action represents much more than brand awareness and sales conversion. It is yet another example of our commitment to Brazilian sport and our concern to offer the best to our traders and to those who want to invest with us.”, concludes Thaís.
