A newly developed sports sedan with a lowered front and a streamlined silhouette. Exactly, we are talking about the new Xpeng P7. – It is a car with a huge appeal. We have especially noticed this when we have been out with our display car – a green P7 Wing Edition. Then all sorts of people come forward and ask about the car and snap cards, says Magnus Wenger, marketing manager at Xpeng Sweden. – People are interested and very curious.

Fast charging

The 489-centimeter-long car is available in three different versions and with two- or four-wheel drive. All cars come with an 86.3 kWh battery that can receive 175 kW of charging power and can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 29 minutes. This means that you avoid long charging stops on the journey. In addition, Xpeng P7 has support for V2L (vehicle to load) which allows you to use the electricity in the other direction. In other words, you always have electricity with you to be able to plug in the computer, the compressor to inflate the summer’s bath toys or the pressure washer. The entry-level version – RWD Long Range – has a range of up to 576 kilometers, according to Xpeng, which corresponds to a consumption of 16.8 kWh/100 km. The engine power of the front-wheel drive version is 203 kW or 276 horsepower and it has a torque of 440 Nm. This means that 0-100 km/h can be reached in 6.7 seconds. Maximum speed is fixed at 200 km/h.

473 horsepower

The four-wheel drive version AWD Performance thus has the same battery, but has been equipped with dual electric motors. The rear engine is the same as in the rear-wheel drive variant, but it has received its own 145 kW electric motor for the front wheels. Both engines deliver a total of 473 horsepower (348 kW). Together with the torque of 757 Nm, the engines manage to deliver enough power for the AWD to do 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. The range of the four-wheel drive versions is reportedly up to 505 kilometers. Wing edition is the worst version of the P7. It’s basically the same car as the AWD Performance, it’s a little heavier and has 19-inch alloy wheels instead of the 18-inch wheels on the RWD Long Range version. It also has ventilated front seats, a Dynaudio sound system with built-in speakers in the driver’s seat, nappa leather upholstery and soft-close doors (this is also available as an optional package). But the most obvious difference is the eye-catching scissor doors (which open vertically).External link: Book a test drive of the new Xpeng P7 today!
