Defi Kingdoms

With an interface that is very reminiscent of the Stardew Valley cross-platform game, DeFi Kingdoms promises to bring a complete and varied experience to the market and to the gaming industry and pixel art MMORPG lovers.

DeFi Kingdoms is a game, a DEX (decentralized exchange), a liquidity pool , an NFT market, and it all unfolds perfectly in the nostalgic form of fantasy pixel art.

How the DeFi Kingdoms game works

Unlike most play-to-earn games that are built using Ethereum (ETH) or Binance Smart Chain (BNB), DeFi Kingdoms was built on top of Harmony (ONE) , a blockchain with a similar proposal to its competitors, which has advantages and disadvantages in relation to them.

The game is accessed in the browser using Harmony's MetaMask protocol and operating fees are all paid in ONE.

Inside the game, the user finds a metaverse complete with the JEWEL token, a decentralized exchange based on pools of liquidity, the gardens (the gardens) and NFTs assets (realms, heroes and equipment).

Tokenomics – JEWEL

JEWEL is the main value token in DeFi Kingdoms and can be used to purchase exclusive NFTs and in-game buffs such as speeding up build times.

The token is not only used for in-game items and unique NFTs, but also in liquidity mining, allowing the player to earn even more with staking. JEWEL is also a governance token.

It has a maximum supply of 500,000,000 tokens , with an initial distribution of 10,000,000 (2%) , as follows:

  • 5,000,000 JEWEL for the development fund;
  • 2,000,000 JEWEL for promotional, marketing and airdrops;
  • 2,000,000 JEWEL for initial liquidity in the game pools, mainly in the JEWEL/ONE pair;
  • 1,000,000 JEWEL for payment to the team.

The rest of the tokens will be released through staking rewards, garden liquidity, in-game quest rewards, NFT and other features.

There are currently 63 million JEWELs outstanding, with a market capitalization of $1.31 billion at the #99 position and a fully diluted market capitalization (assuming maximum supply) of $10.42 billion .

The token is trading for $20.60 according to Coingolive , having appreciated +200% in the last 30 days.

DEX – Decentralized Exchange

At its core, DeFi Kingdoms has a decentralized exchange that uses the UniswapV2 protocol.

Investing is one of the main reasons we are attracted to blockchain technology and, with the game, investors can invest inside the metaverse in a fun way.

On the market, the player can trade tokens and can also become a Liquidity Provider by adding liquidity to any set of tokens he wants.

In doing so, you will receive fees whenever someone trades these tokens. Alternatively, LP tokens ( liquidity providers ) can also staking Jardins to earn rewards in JEWEL.

The Gardens in DeFi Kingdoms

At its core, Gardens is a place to staking liquidity provider (LP) tokens to receive JEWEL.

In each garden (ie each pair in the liquidity pool), the player will be able to see their share of the total share of the lot represented by their plants.

The gardener is busy taking care of his plants (this represents the countdown between the mined blocks) and, once harvested, the gardener deposits his produce in the deposit that represents his share of JEWEL.

NFT, Heroes, Kingdoms, Quests, PvP and more

With JEWEL players will be able to buy unique heroes and realms that can be upgraded over time (by increasing level and attributes).

Heroes can be used to use equipment (which enhance the hero and are also NFT items), participate in quests (missions) that yield experience, items and JEWEL, and participate in PvP battles that improve the heroes and also give other rewards.

To participate in the missions, heroes can choose professions such as: miners, gardeners, lumberjacks and fishermen. Some professions yield special items that can be used for other purposes.

TVL – Total amount blocked

TVL – or Total Locked Value – is a metric that indicates the amount of tokens locked within the DeFi platform through investments and is very useful for evaluating asset value.

Together with market capitalization, it can also help the investor to find out if the token is under or over valued, by dividing the market cap by the TVL, we find the MCap/TVL ratio , where 1 would be the "fair price" and less that 1 could indicate a good buying opportunity.

According to Defillama , DeFi Kingdoms has a TVL of US$ 1.17 billion and its MCap/TVL would be at ~1.12 , indicating that its current price is balanced with the amount invested in the game and an increase in the number of players could justify an asset appreciation.

According to Dappradar , DeFi Kingdoms already has about 20 thousand players.
