Banco do Brasil renegotiates R $ 40 million in debt through WhatsApp

Charlie Taylor

In just over four months of operation, the debt renegotiation through Whatsapp reached R $ 40 million, informed Banco do Brasil (BB). The virtual assistant has been available since August to customers of the financial institution.Unprecedented in the national financial system, the technological solution uses artificial intelligence and eliminates the need to call an attendant. According to BB, about 4,500 individual customer agreements were signed exclusively with the virtual assistant.
Available to customers with late payments, the tool allows renegotiations of up to R $ 1 million, which take, on average, four minutes to complete. Women between 18 and 29 years old lead the use of technology.
To activate communication with Banco do Brasil via Whatsapp, the customer must save the number (61) 4004-0001 on the cell phone and contact the institution. To request debt renegotiation, just talk to the virtual assistant or send the word #renegocie.Coinext 760x150

The artificial intelligence system itself identifies the renegotiation offers available to the client. When choosing one of them, the deal is automatically closed, with the ticket sent by Whatsapp itself. During the process, you have the option of asking to speak to an attendant.
To use the solution, the customer's mobile device must be cleared for transactions via WhatsApp. The tool also allows the cancellation of an agreement, the issuance of a duplicate renegotiation slip and the early settlement of agreements.
