Banco do Brasil announced the distribution of R $ 212,106,576.44 million in dividends to shareholders, according to a relevant fact sent to the market. According to the document, this is remuneration in the form of interest on equity (JCP). The value of the remuneration will be based on shares and was established as follows: dividends of R $ 0.07433470709, and complementary interest on capital of R $ 0.34011137994. According to the document, these amounts will be imputed to the minimum mandatory dividend referring to the first semester of 2022.

The amounts will be paid on May 28, 2022, based on the shareholding position of May 21, 2022, with the shares being traded “ex” as of May 24, 2022.

The payment procedure will be as follows: The credit will be by checking account, gold savings or by cash. Shareholders whose registrations are out of date will have their remuneration retained until the effective regularization of their registrations at one of BB's branches. The registration regularization can be carried out by presenting an identity document, CPF and proof of residence, if an individual, or statute / social contract and proof of representation, if a legal entity.
To the shareholders with shares held in custody at CBLC – Companhia Brasileira de Liquidação e Custódia, the amounts will be paid to that entity, which will pass them on to the titular shareholders, through their respective custody agents.
In the case of JCP, there will be withholding income tax on the nominal value in accordance with current legislation. Shareholders exempted from said taxation must prove this condition by 05/25/2022 at one of BB's branches. Additionally, BB informed that R $ 415,758,000.00 were paid, on 03/31/2022, as compensation to shareholders in the form of interest on own capital, according to the Material Fact of 02/26/2022.
