2012 is the 50th Anniverary of the foundation of Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret, in Southwark, London.

To commemorate the occassion, the museum opened for free on 27th October 2012. A steady stream of visitors enjoyed their visit and were offered free talks, and free walks around the area.

Cutting the ribbon opening the Museum on its 50th Birthday - the Museum was free all day.
